Michael Kimel is the co-founder, and Chairman of Harlo Entertainment. As an award-winning entrepreneur, Michael has spearheaded the growth and success of multiple iconic businesses across North America. Notable ventures include co-founding Chase Hospitality Group (CHG), a globally recognized brand, responsible for creating leading culinary destinations, including their flagship award-winning restaurant, The Chase. He played a key role in the development and success of Miami landmarks Komodo, Swan and Papi Steak. Most recently, Michael co-founded OverActive Media, the only entity worldwide to own three franchised e-sports teams. He also serves as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguin's management committee. Michael's dedication to the growth and success of his portfolio of businesses has awarded him a ranking on Toronto's Top 50 Most Influential People.

Brandon Marek is the Managing Partner at Harlo Entertainment, North America’s leading entertainment and hospitality private equity firm. With over 20 years of experience, Brandon has ideated, designed and launched a variety of successful companies. Select experience includes: co-creating Michelin award winning restaurants Mimi Chinese & Sunnys Chinese, co creating the world-renowned New City Gas entertainment complex in Montreal, co-founding Moneybag Vodka alongside KISS’ Gene Simmons, developing SPINCO – Canada’s largest spin studio – to thirty locations across the country and most recently leading the launch of Shake Shack in Canada. Brandon specializes in creating brands that value luxury and invaluable experience, and has supported many organizations in building best-in-class experience programs, including Hakkasan Group in Las Vegas. He is a skilled and experienced creator, designer, and operator and proudly serves on the board of Victim Services Toronto.
